reseal grout lines...
This is not for the faint of heart. It is a true scrub-down, refresh.
Even if you're too fancy to get down, use this as a guide in delegating the work.

Bless this Bhavan
Sound is the highest priority in Sanskrit.
The healing effect of the sequential flow of sounds in the Sanskrit language is said to not only balance the mind and the body, but even extend further to create harmony in the collective consciousness of society as a whole.
In Sanskrit the sound and the meaning are not considered as two different entities but as one and the same. The sounds of Sanskrit carry the qualities of the meaning on the very level of their vibrational frequency. This means that even without understanding the meaning, chanting or listening to Sanskrit verses could generate a very beautiful effect on the mind and on the body.
Sanskrit has been used since time immemorial for the purpose of solving and avoiding problems in life, for healing various aspects of the energy body and the physiology, and to elevate the human consciousness towards unfolding its full potential.

A house's name stays with the address for a lifetime. Our house-build has just barely begun, but I'm not sure the current "Cherry Tree" is the one. Some of the sankrit words I am toying with are above, but until the house is complete - just as waiting until a baby is born! - only then do you know what name will fit.

I do my best, and God does the rest
KUBERA MUDRA
Touch your thumb to your index and middle finger. The ring and pinky fingers fold onto your palm. Or, I like them loose.
Thumb tip: the Will
Pointer finger tip: "I am"
Middle finger tip: "I use"
The fingers of Mars' force, Jupiter's resplendence, and Saturn's passageways are joining powers. Take this Mudra as you focus on your heart's desire and make your intention clear. Imagine your dream in all its colors. You may use this Mudra in Savasana; Kubera will give you inner repose, confidence and serenity.
I also like that this Mudra is similar to a SNAP! Another great gesture for making things happen!!

what did we do all day?
The Magical Years of Childhood
... Waldorf education actively protects the first magical dream-like phases of consciousness which are natural to the child until around the age of seven. This runs contrary to the majority of programs and influences acting on the child today which try to prematurely "awaken" the child to the adult conceptions of time, space and cognitive thought.
...While it is possible to teach some four year olds to read and write, such early gains are easily matched by the child who waits until age seven, and what is lost is the imaginative, magical element of the young child. Indeed, according to Steiner, the awakening and hardening influence of cognitive work before the age of seven directly influences a child's developing organs and can result in various illnesses in later life.
...There is tremendous pressure to hasten children's entry into the adult world. But an understanding of the process of development and a trust in its unfoldment in their individual child can give parents confidence to resist hurrying their child and to enjoy him or her at each stage.

what COLOR is your day, dove?
Today is a SILVER day. Houseguests have departed and loose ends are being tied. It has been a slate and shiny afternoon of story time, spaceships and sweet-and-sour soup. All transpiring in a heather gray floral sweatsuit.
