It is so complicated let us discuss it ad nauseam and get nowhere?! Let’s not: the truth will feel effortless.

| Virabhadrasana A - Warrior I Pose |
I birthed my four babies at home and I have always known intuitively never to speak about it in common company. When your life challenges conventional - conformist - foundational beliefs, the threatened masses will act out (and sometimes with virile hostility). Thinking ‘differently’ from the majority is a sure bet side effect of a consistent yoga practice and is mostly fun, but on occasion you will feel confused, misunderstood and alone (or even outcast and humiliated when you are the more outspoken type). Welcome to rare and lasting inner peace and outer beauty! No one said it would be easy. π
PS : If you are not having these black sheep issues - get thee to more yoga classes! π€ππ

For answers at first, revelations at last:
CONTEMPLATION sees everything, holds on to nothing. (Warning: takes years)
Consistency is the key π. We will find consistency when we DIS-COVER our inner selves. No copycatting, no idolizing, no formulas. No prescribed diets, uniforms, or interior spaces. No dictated timetable or curriculum.
Yoga - just you and the mat. No masks. No pretense. No fake-it-till-you-make-it.
What is your illness telling you? STOP most of what you’re doing, get quiet & listen intent-ly.
My head is now submerged in what feels like a giant cotton ball and I’m hearing from my dis-ease that I’ve been consuming too much. Intaking kids’ equipment, junk food, other’s opinions, gossip, media, activity, meetings… throat, nose, ears and eyes are ailing. As I have been actively releasing much of this worldly influx as of late, I can also concur this is another important, physical step in the cleansing. ☁️
LABELS may temporarily console us (“I am not alone!”) but, ultimately, epithets are limiting and best discarded (every snowflake is, in fact, unique.) ❄️
Also - put down the podcast, book, lecture, course etc. Cease the googling. And reject outside opinion (even from your mother, brother and besties). Reacquaint yourself with yourself. (The answer is you.)
Clear (even just a byte of) your DIGITAL CLUTTER and experience such exceptional lightness and striking clarity it’s revolutionary.
Small victories: 1. Make the bed. 2. Brush your teeth. 3. Walk the dog. 4. Brush your teeth. 5. Unmake the bed.
Practice, practice, practice. OR maybe it’s just not that major for you.
When we lessen our own material requirements, (persistently removing those pesky impulses and cravings one-at-a-time,) the incessant worldly demands of our children (and other household members) no longer vex us, as the mirror aspect is removed. πͺ
Weekends are for using it up or chucking it out! Clean out the fridge + actually clean the fridge = resourceful foods for the famille and a fit kitchen for the week ahead. π
