I notice only encouragement (in this society) to get ahead! stay ahead! be multiple steps ahead of!! … is it working?

Why not try ABIDING. Wait, dwell , remain, endure, stay firm under. 

Sukhasana

Sukha - easy. It’s anything but!

Sukha - comfort, joy. The end result, reward of abiding.
