“Happy New Year”: Buried alive in the bustling routine of family life, I find myself awkward, unprepared, and downright stumped when presented with normal adult socializing and interacting. When in debilitating doubt, which I currently am (obvious names, places, and details completely eluding my overcrowded brain), just BE KIND (not witty or smart or most accomplished or pageant beautiful). Simply begin with an easygoing “Happy New Year” and do not shy away, because a second chance - another opportunity to connect - may not present itself in the near future.
